A reflection on our visual perspective and the elements that exist within our interior and exterior experience.
Within a culture of visual addiction and high stimulation, subtle senses such as auditory and olfactory are left untuned and underdeveloped.
Intimacy within community, connection to land, and to ourselves is disrupted through disengagement with the elements and the subtle rhythms found in nature.
Our subtle senses aid with our homeostasis (inner physiological balance) and we can help re-find this balance through sound, breath, scent, self inquiry.
FVOS explores the intimate border we draw which divides and distinguishes our individual body. By manipulating vision, and giving space to other sensory faculties, a moment is given to wonder who stands within the reflection.
